Our cancer services are generously supported by volunteer Ray Groups and Thrift Shops, who dedicate countless hours to raising funds for LifeCare Alliance Cancer Services. Grove City Cancer Thrift Shop

In the over 50 years Grove City Cancer Thrift Shop has been in business, it has raised and donated nearly $1.1 million in support of cancer patients.  The shop’s many fundraising efforts include ink recycling and purchasing at Staples and Staples.com. This is how you can help:

  • Ink Recycling: Grove City Cancer Thrift Shop collects and recycles used/empty printer ink cartridges.  They receive credit from Staples for these and use the dollars to buy supplies for the shop.
  • Staples and Staples.com purchases: After making a purchase at Staples or Staples.com, save that receipt. Grove City Cancer Thrift Shop receives credit for your sale and uses the credit to buy supplies for the shop.
  • Consignment and Donation Policy: Donations are accepted during our business hours. A consignor must have an appointment to bring items for consignment and appointments must be made in person.   • Volunteer: We are proud to say that the Grove City Cancer Thrift Shop is 100% powered by our members, who are unpaid volunteers”.  Our membership operates every facet of the business.  Our Board and Shop Management Team are elected individuals from our Membership.  If you would like more information about becoming a member, please stop by our shop during business hours to fill out an application.  References are required.

We gladly accept all major credit cards as well as debit cards with a $10 minimum purchase.

Reynoldsburg Cancer Thrift Shop

Hours: Business hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The shop is closed Sunday, Monday, and Thursday.

The Reynoldsburg Thrift Shop is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The shop has been supporting LifeCare Alliance Cancer Services since 2006.

Donations and consignments are accepted. Please check with the shop for a list of items that are not accepted. Cash, credit and/or debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover) are acceptable forms of payment.

Volunteers are always needed. Stop by the shop during business hours to fill out a volunteer/member application.

Worthington Thrift Shop

Hours: Thursday – Friday 1-4 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Listed hours are temporary due to COVID-19.

The Worthington Thrift Shop, established in 1967, is an all-volunteer 501 (c)(3) organization.  The shop began raising money for LifeCare Alliance Cancer Services in 2006, totaling more than $250,000 for local cancer patients and their families. In addition, the shop runs pantry drives to collect non-perishable foods, toiletries and durable equipment for LifeCare Alliance.

The Worthington Thrift Shop accepts donations and does consignments.  Individuals can consign small items (household, jewelry , shoes, handbags and clothing, no furniture) for a period of 30 days for a 50/50 split.

Volunteers willing to donate at least 3 days a month to the shop are welcomed. Please visit the shop for more information.
