The holidays are a  particularly difficult time for our patients, who are having both financial and physical health struggles. Each holiday season our clients are matched with generous sponsors who purchase gifts on the family’s behalf to help create everlasting memories. Sponsors provide the LifeCare Alliance with their desired family size to adopt and then are matched with a family and provided a wish list created by the family. The gifts can be dropped off at LifeCare Alliance or taken to the cleints’ homes. Our wig room provides our clients with a way to get a small piece of themselves back as they are going through treatment for cancer, or shortly after finishing their treatment. The wigs are all cleaned, brushed and organized by color and style. Clients make an appointment with the clinic and then try on our gently uses wigs to find the perfect hair to fit their style and needs. Our wig room is stocked completely by donation, so we are always in need of these items:

• Wigs (gently used, real hair, synthetic hair etc)
• Hats, head scarves (all seasons)
• Wig stands
• Wig shampoo
• Men’s hats (baseball hats, winter hats etc)

LifeCare Alliance has a medical supply room that provides our clients with durable medical equipment at no cost. This equipment helps balance out the various costs these individuals are facing while meeting their physical needs. The supplies in this room are stocked solely by donations, and these are items we are always in need of:

• Wheelchairs
• Walkers (standard and rollators)
• Canes
• Shower chairs
• Bedside commodes
• Ostomy supplies
• Wound Care Supplies
• Adult diapers/depends

Please note: We cannot accept medications, liquids, open packages of supplies, motorized equipment, or hospital beds.
