Delivery Drivers

Responsible for delivering and picking up meals, equipment, and other assigned items to individuals and locations in Central Ohio using personal vehicle and/or program vehicle.

STATUS: Part-time
LOCATION OF WORK: 670 Harmon Ave
REPORTS TO: Nutrition Programs Operations Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for delivering and picking up meals, equipment, and other assigned items to individuals and locations in Central Ohio using personal vehicle and/or program vehicle. Work includes basic maintenance of and loading and unloading program cargo van, maintaining a variety of Agency equipment, verifying load, delivering meals, taking food temperatures, managing written materials and other items, recording delivery information, and reporting of route problems to appropriate staff. Must have cargo van driving experience and a good driving record. Work requires customer service and communication skills. Requires contact with agency staff, site coordinators, and the general public. A positive and cooperative image and attitude is important for this position. Work performed under the general supervision of the Driver Supervisor and in cooperation with other agency staff.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have high school diploma or GED. Valid Ohio Driver’s License and acceptable driving record. Must be able to read and write and navigate using a map.
