REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
POSITION SUMMARY: The Driver is responsible for performing transportation services (primary duty), for Direct Care support Staff and Personal Care Assistant. This position is also responsible for providing pick of staff members from their home or designated location and dropped off to clients home to perform direct care service to clients. The services are provided under the direction of the staff member providing oversight for specific service being delivered. Duties are assigned by agency policies and program policies of practice. Work performed in this position will be of a complex, paraprofessional, confidential and often health related nature. Work also requires an attention to detail, flexibility, excellent written and verbal skills, and the ability to handle multiple functions at one time. This position will have frequent contact with agency personnel and clients of the agency. A positive and cooperative image and attitude is crucial for this position. This position requires a significant amount of independence, self-direction and self-discipline to accomplish the essential functions and responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a high school diploma or GED. Good Clean driving record with less than 4 points on your Ohio Driver’s License Community health care service experience with culturally diverse and/or elderly population. Prefer current certification in CPR valid Ohio driver’s license.
