LifeCare Alliance (LCA), a private, not-for-profit organization, provides a comprehensive array of health and nutrition services to older adults, chronically ill, and disabled central Ohioans.  Most don’t realize that LifeCare Alliance is the leading provider of Meals-on-Wheels in Franklin County, having served 14,968 clients in 2007.

The economic climate has been challenging for everyone. In fact, our clients have been significantly impacted because many live on less than $600 per month – they truly depend on LifeCare Alliance to meet their basic nutritional and healthcare needs – LifeCare Alliance sustains their quality of life and nourishes the human spirit!

LifeCare Alliance also provides medical supplies and equipment, and transportation to cancer-related medical appointments for low-income, underinsured and uninsured individuals living with active cancer. In addition, we provide emergency financial assistance to those who are about to lose daily necessities such as housing and/or utilities.  Transportation is also a crucial component for our senior dining center participants so they can have a hot nutritious lunch at one of the twenty-five senior dining centers with their peers, eliminating isolation.

We could not accomplish these tasks alone, and it is our hope that you become a valued partner with LifeCare Alliance.
