LifeCare Alliance, Central Ohio’s largest Meals-on-Wheels provider was presented a $19,800 check made possible through a Walmart Foundation grant to the Meals On Wheels Association of America (MOWAA).  The money enabled LifeCare Alliance to purchase of a new cargo van to continue serving area seniors who rely on the service to meet their basic needs of healthy and nutritious food.

The Walmart Foundation presented a second check for $10,000 to LifeCare Alliance to help the organization purchase a new boiler and maximize their resources by reducing meal production costs.  Mitch Hall, General Manager for Walmart Logistics at the Grove City distribution center and Walmart Human Resource Manager Jamey Miller presented the checks to LifeCare Alliance President and CEO Chuck Gehring at the Evans Senior Center in Grove City. State Representative Cheryl Grossman and Grove City Mayor Ike Stage also attended the presentation.

LifeCare Alliance, Central Ohio’s largest Meals-on-Wheels provider received the Walmart Foundation grant to the Meals On Wheels Association of America (MOWAA).  LifeCare Alliance purchased a new Meals-on-Wheels Transit to continue serving our seniors who rely on our services everyday to meet their basic needs of healthy and nutritious food.

We are Meals-on-Wheels, so no senior goes hungry!

Mayor Ike Stage presented a $15,000 check to Chuck Gehring, President and CEO of LifeCare Alliance.  The donation will provide meals to the older adults living in Grove City.  Many thanks to the City of Grove City for supporting the programs and services provided by LifeCare Alliance and for continuing to Nourish the Human Spirit!
