Visiting Nurses
Since 1898, visiting nurses provide care to meet the each individual's unique health needs. That service continues today through our Wellness Center registered nurses and dietitians and includes linking individuals to other health care providers, as needed.

Project OpenHand-Columbus
Project OpenHand-Columbus provides home-delivered nutritionally enriched meals, pantry items, nutritional supplements, nutritional assessments, counseling and a congregate meal program to men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS in Central Ohio.

Wellness Centers
Senior Wellness Centers are located in senior centers and senior residences across Franklin County. The goal of the Wellness Center is to help each client achieve his or her optimal level of good health. A variety of services are available, including physical assessments and screening tests such as blood sugar, urinalysis, cholesterol, and anemia evaluations.

The Wellness Centers registered nurse specializes in the care of older adults and is trained in helping their clients manage chronic diseases.

Senior Dining Centers
In more than two dozen locations across Central Ohio, the Senior Community Centers provide added benefits of a hot nutritious lunch, socialization, activities, and a connection to the community. Transportation is provided to most Senior Community Centers.
