Each year LifeCare Alliance salutes the outstanding accomplishments of our Franklin and Madison County volunteers at the Volunteer Recognition Ceremony. The festive event is catered by LifeCare Allianc's very own LA Catering and is held at a community facility with adequate parking. For more information about the Volunteer Recognition Ceremony, email ptice@lifecarealliance.org. Listed below are the award categories.

• The John Marakas Philanthropic Leadership Spirit Award is presented to an individual who sets the standard for personal charitable giving and corporate charitable gifts.
• The Catherine Gillie Spirit Award is presented to a Senior Wellness Center volunteer of long standing and who demonstrates commitment to Senior Wellness.
• The John Nilssen Spirit Award is presented to an individual for longstanding voluntary service as a Meals-on-Wheels volunteer.
• The Community Service Award is presented to a club, organization, church or company for long-term route adoption and demonstrating outstanding service to our homebound neighbors.
• The Corporate Leadership Award is presented for outstanding corporate commitment to quality independent living
