Home Care on the Highway ProgramHome Care on the Highway is an innovative approach to delivering home health care services such as homemaking, errands and personal care. The delivery approach allows LifeCare Alliance the opportunity to efficiently use service dollars in meeting the needs of our older adult population in Central Ohio.
Home care staff is transported Monday thru Friday to various locations such as senior housing and private homes nearby. The clients we serve in these areas have their needs met with this approach and the agency is able to provide employment to those without reliable transportation. The program has been in operation since May 2002 and currently operates with approximately 15 home health care paraprofessionals serving nearly 200 clients.
