Meals-on-Wheels, home delivered meals, of Franklin and Madison Counties in Ohio provides hot nutritious meals to elderly senior citizens and handicapped persons who are unable to provide meals for themselves. A caring volunteer or staff delivery person delivers the meals to the home. This daily in-home assistance allows the frail homebound person to live independently in his or her own homes.
LifeCare Alliance is proud to assist older adults who are 60 years of age or older, homebound and who reside in their homes or in a senior citizen facility.
Intake information and screening is completed via the telephone. Most decisions on service starts are made at that time or within 5 working days. Services for hot meal delivery can begin next day if application is processed by 12:00 noon. Frozen meal delivery service will begin the following week after if the application process. Hot daily meals can be delivered until frozen meal delivery starts. Meals are delivered in an emergency within 24 hours.
